Deck The Hallmark w/ Bran, Dan, Panda (Dec 2020)

Not even gonna lie - this one was straight up, the most fun. Maybe it’s because we talked a lot of basketball. Maybe they’re just funny - but we had a vibe and it was crazy fun. Covered a ton of topics, and we could have talked all day! That was legit delightful (which are hilarious words to pair for a description).

CTV Morning Live w/ Jordan Pires (Dec 2020)

This was a special one for me. I got to discuss the impact that proper representation can have and advocate for the changes that are still required in the film/tv industry.

House of Hallmark w/ Chelsie Overocker

Chelsie and I really got to talking and reached into our shared experiences growing up bi-racial to dig into the Christmas Spirit.

We Are Entertainment News (Dec 2020)

Hallmark’s Antonio Cayonne Talks ‘Christmas In Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing’ and The Happy Accidents That Have Shaped His Life!

Hallmarkies Podcast w/ Rachel Wagner (Nov 2020)

I teamed up with Rukiya Bernard to talk with Rachel and Ann at the Hallmarkies Podcast and discuss the cast, the experience, and this moment coming back to Evergreen.

Christmas Movies Unwrapped w/ Naomi and Hannah (Dec 2020)

Typically, Naomi and Hannah discuss the best and worst of made-for-television Christmas films. But not this time - not quite. This became, for me, one of the most in depth and engaging conversations on the importance of diversity and representation in Hallmark movies, accountability and of course Evergreen.
I’m biased by I highly recommend.

All The Feels w/ Dory, Erika, and Mel (Dec 2020)

This is the full circle interview. The last time we spoke we were fraught with the prospect that this might not ever happen. And now here we are! I got to catch up with Dory and share how it feels to show up in a world that we haven’t been done right by in the past. Really grateful for this friendship~

MKP Celebrity Talk w/ Maija Remple (Nov 2020)

“NO GOSSIP. MORE TALK.”

In this episode, Maija keeps true to her word. We TALK! We have a great conversation about diversity and racism, representation, toronto vs vancouver, values and beliefs - and even make time to talk about Christmas!

All The Feels w/ Dory, Erika, and Mel (Aug 2020)

At the height of the BLM led civil rights uprising, I reached out to Dory Benford. She looks like me, and she loves Hallmark - a network that doesn’t typically show her as the centerpiece of the story. And she’s does a podcast about Hallmark movies with 2 of her best friends.

I needed someone to talk with and hear another voice in the chaos - to help guide and work through the conflict I was feeling. This ‘interview’ is the first time the two of us got to speak, after weeks of emails, and although we cover a lot of ground - ranging from pandemic recovery, to BLM and representation, to the changes Hallmark made - what really happens is we get to connect and become friends fighting for something bigger than either of us, while also fighting to ‘save’ something we love.

Hallmarkies Podcast w/ Rachel Wagner (July 2020)

In July 2020, at the height of the earliest part of the BLM movement I connected with Rachel. I was looking for a source to learn more about what the audience felt about what was taking place in the states, and how it might related to them.
Rachel and I came together on this podcast and got to have a meaningful conversation about the network and its position in the conversation of diversity and inclusivity, and share our hopes for radical change.
